While I was never completely convinced of the Constellation programme's worth, it's better than nothing, and if Obama had no better idea (and no, his idea of privatising the space programme does not count), then he shouldn't have cancelled it. Maybe he's trying to pull a Kennedy with this speech, but at least Kennedy put money where his mouth was. Obama’s speech is very disappointing.
